Working principle:

The feeding process of vibratory feeders is achieved by the feeding chute doing linear reciprocating vibration periodically which is forced by the special vibrating motor. When the vertical weight of the feeding chute vibration accelerated speed is bigger than the gravitational acceleration, the material will be upthrown and jumped forward along a parabolic path. The feeding chute will vibrate and the material inside the feeding chute will jump forward continuously due to the continuous exciting of the vibrating motor, so that it can achieve the purpose of material feeding.

1. It can easily control the discharge capacity. You can also control the discharge capacity (tons/hour) by using a inverter.

Structures and Features for Three types of Rotary Vibrating Screen Net Rack

1.U-shaped net rack 
It belongs to the very commonly used model of rotary vibrating screen, first use the pressurized tooling to fix the thick wire diameter of screen mesh in the U-shaped groove, this layer is called meshed net, then the working net is tiled above the meshed net and clamped it. The advantage of this type of net rack is the replacement of working net in a faster rate, the framework of meshed net supports the working net to ensure the flatness of screen surface and prevent the impulsive force of material causing damage of working net, at the same time also will avoid the damage of working net due to the strike of bouncing ball that on the screen plate. Rotary vibrating screen has two flanges: convex and concave. The concave flange is welded inside the screen frame, while the convex flange is a movable component, the screen mesh is placed between two flanges and locked up with the screw, the screen surface will tension naturally. Generally, this net rack structure is designed for the screen mesh with 12 mesh-30 mesh.

3.Dual A net rack
It also known as the single net with dual clamp net rack or light weight net rack structure. Rotary vibrating screenwith this net rack is using two ring shaped circular hoop fix tension screen mesh. The main advantage of this type net rack is higher screening rate.

How to Prolong the Life Span of Circular Vibrating Screen?

Circular vibrating screen is widely used for building materials, chemical, food, abrasives, plastic, medicine, chemical fertilizer, metallurgy, glass, food, ceramics etc.

The following are the methods to prolong the life span of circular vibrating screen which might give you some ideas during the operation:

1.The bolts which connected with the body and screen box of circular vibrating screen are strength bolts. It cannot be replaced by using normal bolts to connect with the body and screen box. The fastening of bolts must be checked regularly, at least once a month. Loosen of bolts might occur if any bolt is loosen, which will cause damage to linear vibrating screen.

2. The space between side plates and mesh sieve box must be equal during replacing the woven mesh. First of all, tighten up the flat steel in the middle. At the same time tighten the mesh surface tension and ensure the surface tension is uniform and constant. Then, slightly tap the mesh surface tension along the entire length by using a hammer to check the tension. One of the reasons for woven mesh to damage in shorter period is due to the tension, either not enough or uneven.

3. The temperature of bearing should not exceed 75°C during normal operation. This is because there is a running-in process of new vibrator which might cause the higher temperature, but the temperature will be stable after running for 8 hours. Check the standard, oil level and purity of oil if the temperature remains high.

How to reduce noise during application of rotary vibrating screen effectively(1)

 Rotary vibrating screen is a powder screening equipment with high accuracy. There are various noise might occur during the operation. The louder the noise will cause the greater damage to rotary vibrating screen, thus it is very important to find out the reasons of noise, analyze the reasons and find out the solutions to solve the problem effectively. The following are the reasons and effective solutions for noise occurs in rotary vibrating screen:

1.In order to fix rotary vibrating screenequipment during the process of transportation, the bolts will be added with the means of transport. However, the bolts that connected to rotary vibrating screen equipment might be left and causing noise during operation.

2.The clamp bolts are not tighten.
Solution: check and tighten up the clamp bolts.

3.The clamp bolts are not completely jointed.
Solution: open and re-joint the clamp bolts, ensure the clamp bolts are jointed completely.

4.Due to the operation of rotary vibrating screen, the plate that is used for supporting the bouncing ball might be deviated from its place or it might be damaged.
Solution: re-locate the plate to its original place if it is deviated, or replace a new place if it is damaged.

Suggestions for Reasonable and Effective Use of Rotary Vibration Screen

1. After complete installation of rotary vibrating screen, test run by putting in small amount of material, after confirmation of no creating any problem in installation and able to complete the screening, then it is ready used for formal production.

2. Screen mesh is one of the important components in the screening equipment. It plays the key role in screening efficiency and accuracy. Hence, inspect regularly for the tensioning or wearing on screen mesh, timely replace the screen mesh.
3. Rotary vibrating screen is relied on the vibrating motor as power source, thus vibrating motor is also very important, user should regularly add grease to the motor to avoid abrasion due to lacking of grease, and even burned.
4. Vibrating screen equipment will vibrate continuously during operation, so you should always check the loosening for some of the connection components in the equipment, such as clamp bolts, anchor bolts etc. Please check and tighten the components and parts of rotary vibrating screen regularly.
5. Rotary vibrating screen equipment will vibrate continuously during operation, thus do not place hard objects next to the equipment to avoid scratching or even lacerate the screen surface.

Common Failure Diagnosis and Troubleshooting of Motorized Pulley(2)

This article will introduce common failure diagnosis and troubleshooting of motorized pulley to you continuously.

5.Oil leakage of junction box (internal driver). 

Troubleshooting method: Check whether the oil level is too high or not. Remove the junction box and tighten the grease seal plug.

6. Big pulley noise.
Troubleshooting method: If noise of newly installed pulley is big, please increase the support rigidity and check the pulley, shaft coupling, motor installation coaxality simultaneously. The method is to remove the pulley from the stand, test run the pulley separately. If the noise becomes smaller, it indicates that the support rigidity needs to be increased.

7.Pulley doesn’t rotate after the backstop pulley is connected to the power supply. 
Troubleshooting method: Power supply sequences have errors, the power supply should be disconnected immediately and change the sequences of power supply in order to get the correct sequences of connection.

8. Pulley is reversed when the backstop pulley is disconnected to the power supply. 
Troubleshooting method: Check if backstop device is fault or wear and tear.

Common Failure Diagnosis and Troubleshooting of Motorized Pulley(1)

The motorized pulley should be checked regularly and eliminated trouble timely. The common failure and troubleshooting of motorized pulley will be introduced as shown as below:

1.The current of motor is low, and the cylindrical body doesn’t rotate.
Troubleshooting method: Motor should be checked regularly to know whether it is normal or not. If motor is normal, it indicates that there might be broken in coupling pin shaft ,after changing the coupling pin shaft and start the machine to prevent the more severe consequences.

2.Oil leakage in pulley ends and coupling rotating parts. 
Troubleshooting method: Tighten the spring coil or replace the grease seal.

3.Oil leakage in end cover. 
Troubleshooting method: Tighten the oil plug and change to grease resistant rubber gasket.

4.Oil leakage in the connection parts of cover and cylinder body. 
Troubleshooting method: Check whether the connecting bolts are loosen or not and check if the ventilation plug and air outlet are blocked, unclogging it or clean it if it is blocked.

Repair Method of Linear Vibrating Screen

The repair methods of linear vibrating screen mainly aim for the common failure, which include:
1. Rotation of vibration motor becomes slow, bearing heating, if this kind of problem appears, add the lubricating oil or grease to solve it.
2. Clogging of screen mesh, it may due to the increase of moisture content in sieve material, it may also due to loosen of both side screen mesh, the solution is to adjust the belt and shaft eccentricity distance.
3. Vibrating screen fails to start, you should check for the accumulation of dust and impurities on motor, and should be promptly removed.
4. Vibrating screen structure damages, such as beam fracture, side panel cracking. This situation needs to check the bolts, spring and eccentric block, then repair it.

The Installation and Maintenance of Vibrating Feeder

1. The vibrating feeder is used for dosing, quantitative feeding to ensure uniform and stable feeding and to prevent material flow automatically, the vibrating feeder should be horizontal installed; For general material continuous feeding, it can be installed down-dip 10; For viscous material or material with larger water content ,the vibrating feeder can be installed down-dip 15.

2. After installation, it should leave with 20 mm of interval for vibrating feeder, the suspension device adopts flexible connection.

3. Before test run, all bolts should be tighten up, especially the anchor bolt of vibration motor, it shall be retightened after continuously operation for 3 to 5 hours .

4. The two vibrating motors must rotate in reverse during test run, if there is any abnormal phenomenon, please stop immediately and solve the problem.

5. During operating, the amplitude, current of vibration motor and surface temperature of motor should be regularly checked . The front and back amplitude must be uniform and no side shaking, the current of vibrating motor should be stable, if there is any abnormal phenomenon, please stop immediately and solve the problem.

6. The lubrication of vibration motor bearing is the key point for the normal operation of the whole feeding machine. The second-rate molybdenum 2 # grease should be refilled periodically on the bearing, normally fill the grease every two months, and fill once a month during the high temperature season. The motor should be repaired every six months to change the internal bearing.

The Reasons for Bucket Elevator Head and Tail Wheel Wears Seriously

1.Serious wear problem is caused by the lack of lubricating oil in head to tail wheel, lubricating oil is used to reduce the effect of friction between the components, the working load of bucket elevator is focused on the two wheels, if lacks of lubricating oil, the friction will become greater, the hole that connect sprocket and main axis will be worn seriously, the head wheel and tail wheel will work in unstable condition, the lifted material will also fall down, so the head wheel and tail wheel must be well lubricated.

2. Material particles that conveyed by the bucket elevator is relatively large, the hardness is relatively higher, there will be few materials falling off from equipment during operation, since the sprocket is bigger, the material is very easy to hit the head wheel and tail wheel, after a long period of time the wheels will be deformed, so the material size of conveying material must match with selected bucket elevator. 

3. 4. Middle casing: The design for casing is optimized with double channel in order to prevent the eddy current interference which caused by the belt with relatively high speed, and strengthening angle steel attached to middle casing. The casing of elevator should be checked regularly in order to examine if there is abnormal noise, and frayed or damaged.

5. Lower part device: Gear and rack tensioning devices have been used to adjust the tension synchronously. The tail pulley is designed with automatic centering device and attached with an anti-belt-deviation device and instrument that control the level of material. 6. Protection device: There are anti-belt-deviation in head and tail section of the main device. The Traction Components and Tensioning Methods of Bucket Elevators

This article is the continuation of previous one which is more knowledge about traction components and tensioning methods of bucket elevators.

3.Heavy hammer tensioning, heavy hammer directly putting the force on the part of lower bearing housing via its supportive stand, This resulted with the lower part is tied up with the respective components throughout its sprocket. By comparing to the hammer lever tensioning method, it has the same tensioning achievement, but it is heavier. Therefore, it has often been used at the plate chain elevator which has heavier components. Occupied smaller space and it is an automatic tensioning method.

4.Compound tensioning, it is a combination of heavy hammer and mechanical spring, the pressure is applying on the bearing at the lower part of the machine. And this causes the lower drive wheel to tie up. A set of compression spring is added in the between of heavy hammer and lower bearing, so that the tail part wheel axis contains certain buffering effect to overcome the pressure when it is overload. However, please remind that both sides of the hammer block have to be equal weight to prevent imbalance.

This is due to the function of each bucket elevator is different. Currently, the common uses of tensioning methods are screw tensioning, heavy hammer lever tensioning, heavy hammer tensioning, compound tensioning etc.

1.Screw tensioning, the screw rod is installed at the bottom of machine, the nuts are fixed on the U-shaped slot of the supporting plate, the supporting plate can be adjusted horizontally by rotating the screw rod, the lower mechanical bearing is fixed on the supporting plate which can cause the lower pulley to tie up the component. This tensioning method is suitable for rubber belt bucket elevator, the rubber belt has certain elasticity which can adjust the tensioning screw rod to ensure the stability of rubber belt after being stretched.

2.The force of the heavy hammer lever tensioning is applied on the supporting plate, the lower bearing is fixed on the supporting plate, so that the lower part of the sprocket is tied up with the respective components. This is an automatic tensioning device. Since heavy hammer lever contains certain degree of mobility, therefore it must always maintain the tension of the compartment for good operation. Usually it is applied to the chain drive of the elevator. In order to have an efficient result, chain skidding and slipping off have to be avoided.

Vertical Type Tensioning Device of Belt Conveyor

Vertical type tensioning device is installed between the driving pulley and tail wheel, it should be closed to the minimum belt tension place (driving pulley).When the rubber belt conveyor runs, the structure drives the conveyor belt passing by 90 degree turnabout pulley, then passing by the 180 degree turnabout pulley, tensioning the rubber belt through the heavy hammer which is hanging on the frame. The effective tensioning travel is same with vehicle type tensioning device.

Vertical type tensioning device is suitable for the situation that is difficult to adopt vehicle type tensioning device. The advantage is that it utilizes the space of belt conveyor length which is easy to arrange. The defect is that if adopts this type of tensioning device, the turnabout pulley quantity will increase, material will be easily to fall into the place between rubber belt and pulley, which speeds the abrasion of rubber belt and pulley surface . Especially when transporting materials is damp or with larger viscosity ,the abrasion phenomenon will be more serious.

1.During operation, all doors must be fully closed; there must be appropriate lighting facility in the place of the lower and upper section inspection doors which open frequently ,if there is failure during operation, please stop the bucket elevator at once and eliminate the failure, if there are any defects are not suitable to eliminate immediately, the impact to the work is nor too much, please keep it in the maintenance record and eliminate the failure when troubleshooting, the supervisor should always check the working condition of each part, but when the machine is running ,all cleaning and repairing work is not allowed.

2.The bucket elevator should be started up without load, and stop the machine before all materials inside the buckets are all discharged. 
3.The tension device of lower bucket elevator section should be appropriately adjusted, keeping the belt with normal working tension, the supervisor should always observe the working situation of bucket and belt, damaged buckets should be removed.

4.The bucket elevator can not reverse, if reverses, the chain will run off track, and it is very troublesome to eliminate this problems.
5.Even feeding, increasing the feeding rate suddenly is not allowed .The feeding rate can not exceed the transmission capacity of bucket elevator, otherwise it will be easy to cause material accumulation at the bottom.
6.Add lubricating oil appropriately in time.
7.Replace the chain and bucket which are badly worn or damaged timely.
